Description
After a long and rewarding career, Anna has finally reached the well-deserved goal of retirement. With the money of the liquidation he decided to realize a dream that he cultivated for a long time: buy his own house in a place rich in history, culture and natural beauty. The choice fell on Modica, a beautiful baroque town in the province of Ragusa, in south-eastern Sicily. Famous for its handmade chocolate, the majestic churches and picturesque alleys, Modica is also close to the sea: in a few minutes drive you can reach golden beaches and crystal clear waters.
The property that Anna has bought is in a quiet, panoramic and well connected area. This is a two-storey house, with two separate apartments. On the ground floor there is a garage, a kitchen, a bedroom and a terrace with beautiful views of the city and the hills. On the first floor, instead, there is a second house consisting of kitchen, living room with its balcony and a double bedroom overlooking the beautiful terrace that we have already found also on the ground floor.
Anna has decided to merge the two apartments into a single house on two levels. On the ground floor has a large living area with kitchen, bright and cozy, ideal to receive friends and family. Upstairs she has kept the bedrooms, ready to welcome her two children during the holidays when they come to visit her with their families.
To ensure a certain degree of independence during periods when children and grandchildren stay for long periods, Anna has thought of an intelligent furniture: a transformable piece of furniture that allows you to separate part of the living room on the ground floor, creating an autonomous and functional space. This solution, in addition to offering greater convenience for the family, also opens up the possibility of renting a part of the house for short periods, generating an extra income.
Serene and satisfied with her choice, Anna enjoys the new life in Modica, between walks by the sea, sunsets on the terrace and the warmth of a house finally all his own, Anna still does not exist, But surely you have imagined yourself here in his place...waiting to enjoy the well-deserved rest with the family.
